This group mentorship session opens a safe space designed for sharing and learning, connecting and engaging to help strengthen the support for our local creators and producers in the non-food and food sectors. This program is scheduled on a yearly cycle with at least six pre-programmed sessions conducted in a hybrid environment.

Navigate entrepreneurship with a mentor and get the support you need to help you and your business grow. Whether you are starting in the entrepreneurship journey; or, established your enterprise that need help to scale, the 1:1 mentorship program could be the support you seek to help you reach your next milestone. When you book a session, you will get a dedicated mentor who can share valuable insights and knowledge that throws light on the path that you might have missed. 

The meetings are scheduled via Zoom with a standard duration of 60 minutes per session. Sessions may be booked on regular schedules as follows:

Faculty Instructor - Industrial Design Program, Philippine Women’s College

Maria Elena Remedios Palma Gil Ongkiko is known to many simply as Mai. She is an artist, educator and a visionary. She earned her CFA-Industrial Design from UP Diliman and BFA-Advertising from St. Scholastica's College.

An artist-teacher and entrepreneur, she teaches Industrial Design at Philippine Women's College - Helena Z Benitez School of Fine Arts and Design. She also trained SMEs in product design and development since 2014 under DTI and Mindanao Trade Expo Foundation, Inc; and HEIs through Tambayayong Davao.

Loreen is a Certified Public Accountant with a Masters in Business Administration - Entrepreneurship from Acton School of Business in Austin, Texas, USA. She is currently a faculty-lecturer at Ateneo de Davao University - College of of Business, Entrepreneurship. She also has a background in facilitation, design, and curates transformative learning experiences that support starting entrepreneurs.

Marj is a creative entrepreneur and the co-founder of Creative Circle Philippines. She is certified in Social Enterprise Management and actively takes part in the National Social Enterprise Development Roadmap, a 5-year multi-sectoral and nationwide strategic plan that aims to advance social enterprises in the country.

Angel Mendiola-Valdeztamon

VP for External Affairs, City of San Jose Producers and Entrepreneurs Association, Inc.

Angel has always been a community builder with extensive experience in strengthening strategic alliances.  She actively engage with local and global communities, liaise with private organizations, the local government, media outlets, policymakers and other influencers as well as stakeholders to grow and expand opportunities for small businesses for the City of San Jose Producers and Entrepreneurs Association, Inc.

Ar. EnP. Tricia Sardinia-Peek

Principal Architect and Managing Director at AEX Architects Exchange

As an architect, her work and advocacy focus on sustainable and  sensible processes and mindful design. She is a registered and licensed Environmental Planner with a masters in Human Settlements from the Katholiek Universiteit Leuven in Belgium.

Tricia is also a lecturer in the University of the Philippines - Mindanao at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, BS Architecture.

Xiela Dacyon

Founder, Soap Cakery / Marketing Specialist

Founder of local novelty soap business, Soap Cakery, Xiela specialises in affiliate marketing and Facebook Advertising.

Before becoming an entrepreneur and marketer, she was a financial auditor, a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines, a Certified Internal Auditor and a Chartered Accountant in Australia and New Zealand.

PAST SESSIONS

The CCPH Mentorship Program piloted in 2023 successfully launched the Group Mentorship Program in September of the same year and completed the first cycle with six (6) pre-programmed sessions led by volunteer-mentors. 

The program opened a space for mentees to engage with the community that aims to support and help them grow, scale and sustain their local business. The sessions opened with a generous sharing of a wealth of knowledge and experience from real-life business journey among participating mentees and the mentors in the room.

Dec 19, 2023 at 6pm l Developing ideas into profitable products require a strategic plan from ideation to market availability and must reserve some room for modification to remain competitive in the constantly changing market landscape. Integrating design thinking in the process, the session provided a guided walkthrough to help mentees better understand how to bring new products to the market or modify existing products to create new business.
