Who can join? Everyone’s invited! Whether you’re a household, community group, a whole street, school or even a local business.

What can you sell? You can sell used or unwanted items you own, junk arts and crafts, overstocks from your business and things that would otherwise fill sanitary landfills polluting our ocean. You can also sell handmade, upcycled things and home-made foods.

At every community garage sale event we organize, you will find a Swap PopUp Station. Inspired by the barter culture, you can exchange the goods that no longer spark joy for you at this station.

Together, as one community, we can contribute to the sustainability movement and normalize the culture of reuse+repurpose.

To join, please be guided by these guidelines:

• All items must be freshly washed and/or cleaned. Only things in good to excellent condition are accepted; no damages or stains.

• Bring at least 15 items for selection. Keep in mind that not all items you bring may be qualified for a swap.

• Please take turn shopping; first come, first serve.

• Bring your own shopping bag.

• Ratio: 1 is to 1 (regardless of the value of the item IF the other party accepts the swap.

Accepted items at the Swap PopUp Station: clothes, shoes, hats, bags, books, scarves, accessories, arts and crafts tools, threads and yarns, painting materials, ceramics: vases, plates, and others.
